Introduction
Twelve years ago, I uploaded a small WordPress plugin to CodeCanyon. I had no idea what would happen next.

Why We Are Leaving CodeCanyon
CodeCanyon has been a good home. It gave Progress Map its first users, its first reviews, and its first community. I am genuinely grateful for that.
But the marketplace model has changed. Envato recently announced that all authors will move to the same 50% fee structure, regardless of exclusivity or tenure. For a plugin that has been growing and improving for 12 years, that model no longer makes sense.
