Progress Map Has a New Home

Introduction

Twelve years ago, I uploaded a small WordPress plugin to CodeCanyon. I had no idea what would happen next.

Today, Progress Map has been downloaded over 9,000 times, earned 312 five-star reviews, and helped thousands of WordPress developers and site owners build beautiful interactive maps and directories. Real estate agencies, tourism platforms, local business directories, restaurant finders – Progress Map is quietly powering all of them.

It has been an incredible journey. And today, it is time for the next chapter.

Why We Are Leaving CodeCanyon

CodeCanyon has been a good home. It gave Progress Map its first users, its first reviews, and its first community. I am genuinely grateful for that.

But the marketplace model has changed. Envato recently announced that all authors will move to the same 50% fee structure, regardless of exclusivity or tenure. For a plugin that has been growing and improving for 12 years, that model no longer makes sense.

More importantly, selling on a marketplace means I never truly own the relationship with my customers. I cannot reach you directly. I cannot send you updates, announcements, or early access to new features. That distance has always bothered me.

So I made a decision: Progress Map now has its own home at progress-map.com.

What Changes, What Stays the Same

Let me be direct about what this means for you.

What stays the same:

  • The plugin you know and love
  • The same quality, the same features, the same commitment to regular updates
  • Full compatibility with WordPress and Google Maps
  • Support directly from me, the founder

What changes:

  • Progress Map is no longer sold on CodeCanyon
  • All 9 modules are now bundled into a single product – Progress Map Pro
  • Updates and licenses are now managed through our own platform at progress-map.com

This is not just a change of address. It is a chance to build something better – a direct relationship with the people who use Progress Map every day.

Introducing Progress Map Pro – All 9 Modules, One Price

For years, Progress Map’s features were scattered across multiple separate plugins on CodeCanyon. List & Filter here. Nearby Places there. Advanced Search somewhere else. It was confusing, expensive, and frankly not the experience you deserved.

Progress Map Pro changes that.

For a single one-time payment of $149, you get everything:

  • Map + Carousel – the core interactive map with synchronized carousel
  • List & Filter – beautiful directory listings with real-time filtering
  • Nearby Places – show what’s around your visitors automatically
  • Advanced Search – powerful faceted search with radius and custom fields
  • Draw a Search – let users draw custom search areas on the map
  • Directions – Google Maps powered directions to any location
  • Markers Filter – filter markers by category, color, and custom icons
  • Submit Locations – frontend location submission with moderation
  • Keyword Search – instant keyword search across all your locations

One plugin. Nine modules. One price. Forever.

The Founder Offer – Limited Time Only

To celebrate this launch and to thank the community that has supported Progress Map for 12 years, I am offering a special Founder Price of $149 for a lifetime license.

This is not a permanent price. Once the Founder Offer closes, Progress Map Pro will move to an annual subscription model. The Founder Price will never be offered again.

What you get with the Founder License:

  • All 9 modules included
  • Use on up to 3 websites
  • Lifetime updates
  • Priority support directly from the founder
  • 14-day no questions asked money-back guarantee

If you have been a CodeCanyon customer, this is my way of saying thank you. You believed in Progress Map when it was just a small plugin with big ambitions. Now I am asking you to join me for the next chapter.

A Personal Note

Building Progress Map has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. Every review, every support ticket, every feature request – they all shaped what this plugin has become.

Leaving CodeCanyon is not easy. It is a leap of faith. But I believe that the best way to serve the Progress Map community is to own that relationship directly – to be accountable, responsive, and present in a way that a marketplace never allowed.

This new chapter starts today. I hope you will be part of it.
